  1. Here at Back to Wellness, P.C. we are not an anti-medical facility. Dr. Jason has a brother in pharmacy and a sister-in-law who is an MD. Many chiropractors wish their patients to discontinue seeing other members of the medical community or wish you to stop taking your prescribed medications. We feel that acts like that are irresponsible. We work concurrently with others in the medical field, and have no hesitation to refer to other members. There are specialties in the field of medicine for a reason and we believe in using them. Chiropractic classically falls into the categories of Complimentary or Alternative Medicines. We feel that we are Complimentary to other health care fields because we work with them and not an Alternative Medicine that takes the place of other health care fields.
  2. We use x-ray on an as needed basis. We don't x-ray every patient that walks through our door and when we DO feel the need for x-ray (roughly 5% of our patients get x-rayed) we refer you to an imaging center so you can be assured the most experienced and professional people are reviewing them.
  3. We offer more services than most offices. Besides chiropractic adjustments we offer a massage table, acupuncture, and nutritional supplements. That's just at our facility. Since we're not against referring we can also offer referrals as needed for x-ray and other imaging studies, blood and/or urine analysis, and referral to all kinds of medical professionals.
  4. We work with others in the health field not against them. We encourage concurrent care with others to best manage your health. We feel so strongly about this that we refer about 90% of our patients to get care with others as well as us, medical doctors, massage therapists, cardiologists, and physical therapists just being a few.
  5. We consider that your problems may be caused by something more than a misalignment. We work with you to discover and correct the cause of the problem whether that is chiropractic, diet, posture, sleeping habit, muscle tension, illness/disease, stress, or any other hidden cause.
  6. We get to know our patients and what is going on in their lives. This is because we CARE about our patients. We treat you as people not a case file.
  7. We listen to our patients. You are our major source of information that helps us to determine what kind of care you want and need. What you have to say is important to us.
  8. We talk at your level. We don't talk to you like a three year old unless you ARE a three year old and we also don't try to make ourselves seem important by throwing around big words.
  9. We try to keep you OUT of our office. This may not seem like good business sense to you but our motto is: We grow our office by caring for MORE patients LESS often and doing such a good, long lasting, job that our patients gladly send their friends and family to us.
  10. Despite that we see MORE people we don't rush our patients. An average patient visit is 15 minutes long. We take the time needed to get the job done and to get the job done RIGHT. To do less means that our patients wouldn't be getting the care they need and deserve.
  11. Our patients enjoy a low wait time if there is a wait at all. We strive to respect your time and not have you wasting time waiting. We can not promise to always be running on time because we give our patients the time they need even if that does go over the normal visit time but as we've stated, there is rarely a wait at all.
  12. We reserve time in our schedules for those people who have unexpected problems come up. This way if there are any emergencies we have you covered. We ask you to please not abuse this. If you know you'll want an appointment in a few days please schedule it ahead. We make sure that we aren't booked solid for 3 weeks in advance.
  13. We adjust your entire spine as well as examining your extremities.
  14. We're just plain old nice, friendly, and helpful people.
  15. We get results. We have a 24 hour policy to guarantee our results. If you want an area that we've adjusted checked again we will check it and if we find something out of place we will adjust it free of charge. We do ask that you respect this policy. If you don't feel like an adjustment didn't hold please don't reschedule just to be checked the next day. Also, if you've injured yourself in an area that was not adjusted within 24 hours please don't expect us to correct that area for free.
